Async Nudge
Sometimes the fairest meeting time is none at all.
Why it exists
With a 9-hour timezone spread, someone always sacrifices — there is no slot that's good for everyone. Status updates, reviews, and announcements usually don't need everyone in a room at the same painful moment. The Async Nudge catches those meetings before they're booked.
When the nudge appears
- The timezone spread between participants is 8+ hours
- The best available slot still costs someone a high sacrifice score
- The meeting type is async-friendly (status update, review, announcement)
You can always schedule anyway — the nudge is information, not a blocker. Organization admins on Enterprise can tune the spread threshold with meeting policies.
Going async
Choosing Go Async converts the meeting into an async item: a shared update with a response deadline, sent to every participant in their own timezone. Votes and decisions can be collected with a poll instead of a call.
Hours Reclaimed
Every meeting that goes async banks its would-have-been duration. The Hours Reclaimed tracker (paid plans) totals the time and sacrifice points your team avoided — a number worth sharing when someone asks why your team has fewer meetings than everyone else.
