The Sacrifice Score measures how inconvenient a meeting time is for each participant based on their timezone. Golden hours (10am–4pm local time) cost just 1 point, while graveyard hours (11pm–7am) cost up to 10 points. The score also factors in meeting duration (per 30-minute block), recurring meetings (1.5x multiplier), and whether you're the organizer (0.8x discount).
Go to Settings → Integrations and click "Connect Google Calendar." You'll be redirected to Google to authorize read-only access to your calendar events. ClockAlign uses this to check availability when finding fair meeting times. You can disconnect at any time from the same page.
Go to Settings → Integrations and click "Connect Slack." After authorizing the ClockAlign app in your Slack workspace, you can use slash commands (/clockalign score, /clockalign find) and receive proactive meeting reminders and async nudges via DM.
Pro ($9/month or $79/year) unlocks unlimited teams and members for you, the Sacrifice Leaderboard, Golden Windows Heatmap, and Async Nudge tracking. The Team plan ($6 per seat/month, 3-seat minimum) covers your whole team and adds monthly Karma Reports, auto-rotation, and rotation analytics for every member. Both start with a 7-day free trial.
Go to Settings → Subscription and click "Manage Subscription." This takes you to the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel. Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued, but you keep access for the time you've paid for.
Golden Windows finds the overlapping "golden hours" across all participants' timezones — the times when everyone is at their best energy. It factors in chronotype (early bird, normal, night owl, or a custom energy curve), availability preferences, and calculates a quality score based on average sharpness, minimum sharpness, availability, and evenness.
Yes. ClockAlign requests only read-only access to your calendar to check free/busy status. We never store the content of your calendar events — only availability windows. Calendar tokens are stored encrypted in our database and you can revoke access at any time from Settings.
Instead of choosing a preset chronotype, you can draw your own energy curve — a 24-point graph representing your energy level for each hour of the day. This gives the Golden Windows algorithm a precise picture of when you're most productive, leading to better meeting time suggestions.
